Getting Started

Setting up the bot

Open Daiko Perp and run /start to begin. Next, add it to a group chat with your friends to get started!

Depositing

Next, deposit funds to your wallet. You can send SOL to your Solana address. Run /start to view the address you can send to. You must deposit at least 0.05 SOL to begin trading.

Initializing your Drift account

Once your wallet is funded, run /account to initialize your Drift account if needed. This step is required before you can start trading perps.

Opening your first position

Once your account is funded and initialized, type /long or /short to open a position. You will then be prompted to choose your leverage and margin amount. Next, you'll see a preview with your notional position size and can confirm to place the market order.

Viewing your positions

Now that you have an open position, you can view your positions with the /positions command, either in DMs with the bot or publicly in your group chat.

You're done!

Congratulations, you've placed your first perp trade on Daiko Perp! Make sure to try out other commands like:

  • /balances — view your spot balances and PnL
  • /close — close a percentage of your position
  • /transfer — move SOL between your Privy wallet and Drift
  • /withdraw — withdraw SOL to an external address
  • /invite — invite friends with your referral code
  • /refresh — refresh your Privy SOL balance

And remember, don't get liquidated.
